Well I am going to keep the same regimen, but I am also going to cut my hair shorter one more time. I am going to cut it all to BSL and keep it there while I wait for the broken section of my hair to catch up. I am going to relax at 12 weeks (Sept. 23) and then cut to BSL. I am doing this in the hope that most of the broken hair gets close to APL by December (its mostly SL ), if not then by March 2010 for sure. Once all of my hair is BSL again I will grow it back to Waistlength once again. What can I say, its a really significant amount of hair and at longer lengths I feel it looks sad compared to what my hair can look like.
As usual, the pics. It was kind of hard to capture this on my own, so I did my best to make the hair that's broken stand up while the rest of the hair lays down.
Try again:

Did you determine the cause?
Yes, either the relaxer or some part of the process that the stylist did with the relaxer from my April Relaxer.
I see. Sorry to hear that! Hope it grows back quickly!
Could you do a post on avoiding setbacks like this? I'm sure you've learned a lot from it and I would like to know more.
Thanks in advance!
Sure. Coming soon.
Wow! I hate to see setbacks, but it happens. I am recovering from a setback too. I already read the other post so I'm glad you figured it out!
I am going through the exact same thing, only my hair was just shoulder length!! I have no idea what happened, but it may be too much of a growth aide? I felt so discouraged and ready to give up. I am not happy it happenned to you, but I am glad to see that other women have setbacks as well. Your willingess to keep going keeps me encouraged.
Its you ladies who comment who keep me encouraged, so Thanks!
I'm sorry sorry about what happened! But you have a great regimen, and your hair will grow back in no time =)
